Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a minimum of 5 years of finance experience in the logistics, cargo, freight forwarding, or shipping industry. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and financial controls while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Job Description

• Manage daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and company profitability.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze logistics, cargo, freight, and shipping costs.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for management.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain strong financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and financial regulations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Supervise and support the finance/accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in logistics, cargo, freight forwarding, or shipping.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash-flow management.
• Excellent Excel and accounting/ERP system skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA is an advantage.
