Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join Roseluck Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing our financial accounting and reporting functions. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making. This role is essential to maintaining our financial integrity and supporting the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations
2. Managing the general ledger and ensuring accuracy of all financial records and transactions
3. Supervising the accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment management
4. Conducting financial analysis and variance reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement
5. Reconciling bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy
6. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies
7. Coordinating with external auditors during audit processes and addressing audit findings
8. Preparing financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
9. Managing tax compliance and working with tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings
10. Mentoring and supporting junior accounting staff to develop their skills and capabilities
11. Liaising with various departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Malaysia, or equivalent is highly desirable
3. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices in Malaysia
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
6. Strong understanding of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
9. Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
10. High level of integrity and ethical standards in financial reporting and management
