About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the accounting and financial operations of a professional services / private practice firm. The role will manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, billing and collections, tax compliance, budgeting, and internal financial controls, while providing management with accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the firm’s day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, collections, and overall financial position of the firm.
• Manage client billing, professional fees, invoices, collections, and accounts receivable aging.
• Coordinate with partners, principals, and engagement teams on billing matters, client accounts, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee preparation and filing of BIR tax returns, regulatory reports, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Ensure accurate recording and monitoring of professional fees, operating expenses, partner-related transactions, and other firm expenses.
• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead and supervise accounting staff, review their work, and ensure timely completion of accounting and reporting deliverables.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management/partners on profitability, cash flow, expenses, and business performance.
• Handle other finance and accounting matters as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably within an accounting firm, professional services firm, law firm, consulting firm, private practice, or similar environment.
• Strong experience in general accounting, financial reporting, taxation, billing, collections, and cash flow management.
• Experience managing client billing and professional-fee-based revenue is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR compliance, and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with partners, management, clients, and internal teams.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
