About the Role

We are looking for a CA Qualified Finance Professional for a General Ledger (GL) / Record-to-Report (R2R) role with a reputed pharmaceutical organization in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in GL accounting, R2R processes, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & R2R

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure proper accounting and classification of transactions.
• Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
• Review accruals, provisions, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capitalization.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data and identify variances.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits with required documents and explanations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.
• Support ERP implementation/upgrades and process enhancements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Accounting, GL and R2R processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP.
• Strong knowledge of month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.

Preferred Profile

• CA Qualified with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates from Pharma / Manufacturing / Corporate Finance environments preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with maximum 30 days' notice period are preferred.
