What they need
A growing UK manufacturing/distribution business, serving domestic and international markets, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and business-partner closely with the Commercial Director as the business stabilises and grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own cash-flow management, forecasting, and reporting
- Deliver monthly management accounts and lead period close
- Oversee transaction processing and ensure accurate postings
- Manage central costs and intercompany recharges
- Handle statutory filing, compliance, and company-secretarial matters
- Business-partner senior leadership on stock risk and operational decisions
- Lead and develop a small on-site finance team
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE (qualified by experience)
- Proven experience in a similarly-sized business
- Mature, hands-on finance business partner able to support and challenge senior stakeholders
- Strong forecasting and stock/inventory risk experience
- Comfortable working on-site full time
