Finance Manager

About the Role
Maverick Power Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, taxation and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records and timely statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations in Tally
• Prepare and finalize balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial reports
• Handle GST compliance, including monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation and annual returns
• Calculate, deduct and deposit TDS; file TDS returns and issue certificates on time
• Maintain ledgers, bank reconciliations and vendor/customer accounts
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and expense control
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Provide timely MIS reports to management for decision-making

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification; CA Inter preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
• Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
