  • Lead and oversee the overall Finance and Accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
  • Partner with the General Manager in monitoring the overall financial and operational performance of the depot.
  • Prepare and present monthly Profit & Loss reports, financial analysis, management reports, and budget updates.
  • Analyze financial results, variances, costs, and profitability and provide recommendations to management.
  • Support the General Manager in evaluating new business opportunities and preparing financial simulations and business proposals, in coordination with Regional Business Development.
  • Lead the annual budget preparation process and coordinate with all departments to ensure revenue and cost assumptions are properly captured.

  • Oversee General Ledger activities and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable BIR, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements, including EFPS payments and required tax and inventory reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and BIR representatives to facilitate timely completion of audits and resolution of findings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, suppliers, auditors, management, and other key stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial processes.
  • Identify process gaps and initiate corrective actions and improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with Finance teams across different locations to review financial performance, reporting, and adherence to Group standards.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team, ensuring clear responsibilities, accountability, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial activities.
  • Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management on business decisions, projects, investments, and operational matters.
  • Support management in financial planning, cost analysis, and other strategic projects.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of financial records, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform other finance-related responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably with experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, cost control, general accounting, tax compliance, and treasury functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR requirements, taxation, and financial controls.
  • Proven experience in preparing and analyzing Profit & Loss statements, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial results and translate them into practical recommendations for management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a Finance team and work effectively with different departments and levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting financial information to senior management.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, accountability, and professional judgment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive and improvement-oriented, with the ability to identify financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and apply accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.
  • Experience in a logistics, depot, shipping, or other asset-intensive industry is an advantage.
