Finance Manager

About the role

Oversee the Finance Department Operations, accounting and financial compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily and monthly FRR, money segregation and trust reconciliation
• Handle full set of accounts for SFC RAs Type 1, 4, 7, 9
• Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and consolidated financial statements
• Prepare annual budget, forecast and cash flow projection
• Handle daily client money reconciliation and fund segregation
• Handle stress test for share margin financing activities
• Review banking facilities for management update
• Liaise with auditors to carry out annual audit work

About you

• Degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Economics, preferably with CPA/ACCA/CFA/PMP/CIMA qualification
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in financial industry; FRR experience for Type 1 & 4 is a MUST
• Experience in audit firms with securities brokerage auditing exposure is an advantage
• Exposure in IPO process and proficiency in HK listing rules would be an advantage
• Familiar with Hong Kong statutory audit, profits tax / salaries tax and company secretarial matters; HKFRS reporting experience
• Dynamic, attentive to detail and demonstrate integrity and professionalism
• Proficient in both verbal and written Chinese and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and applications
• Immediately available / short notice period is highly preferred
