Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations while
providing strategic financial insight to support business growth and sustainability.
The successful candidate will have strong experience across financial management, investment analysis, treasury, financial modelling and corporate finance, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.

A strong investment background is highly important for this role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience evaluating investment opportunities, managing investment portfolios or treasury assets, conducting financial due diligence, assessing risk/return profiles, and supporting capital allocation decisions.
The role will work closely with the leadership team, financial institutions and other strategic stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, accounts payable/receivable and financial controls.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, including valuation, returns, risks and due diligence.
• Manage the company’s investment portfolio and monitor investment performance.
• Lead treasury and liquidity management, including relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Support fundraising, investor reporting and capital-raising activities.
• Identify and manage financial risks across the business.
• Partner with Product, Operations and Commercial teams on pricing, profitability and business growth.
• Build scalable finance processes, improve reporting systems and drive finance automation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, corporate finance, investment management, treasury or related fields.
• Significant experience in investment management, investment analysis, asset management, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, treasury or financial markets is highly desirable.
• Previous experience within a fintech, financial institution, investment firm, bank or high-growth startup is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, forecasting and investment analysis.
• Experience managing liquidity, cash and/or investment portfolios.
• Experience supporting fundraising, investor relations or capital-raising activities is an advantage.
• Experience working directly with senior executives, investors, banks and financial institutions.

Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦700,000.00 per month
