FINANCE MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts team.

* Oversee full set of accounts and monthly closing.

* Ensure accurate and timely management reporting.

* Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.

* Manage cash flow and working capital.

* Analyse profitability, margins, expenses and business performance.

* Oversee audit, taxation and statutory compliance.

* Strengthen internal controls, SOPs and financial processes.

* Improve accounting systems and reporting efficiency.

* Monitor inventory, stock movements and financial controls.

* Review multi-branch / business unit performance.

* Work closely with management on financial planning and business decisions.

* Identify financial risks, weaknesses and improvement opportunities.

* Coach and develop the accounting team.

REQUIREMENTS

* ACCA / CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification — REQUIRED.

* Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

* MIA membership is an added advantage; it is not mandatory.

* Minimum 7–10 years of relevant Finance / Accounting experience.

* At least 3 years in a managerial / team leadership position.

* Strong knowledge and experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, audit and taxation, internal controls, and inventory / retail accounting.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

* Able to interpret financial data and clearly explain what the numbers mean to the business.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Able to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function.

* Experience in retail, distribution, multi-branch or high-volume transaction businesses will be a strong advantage.
