FINANCE MANAGER

About the role

This role oversees the company's daily financial and accounting operations, human resources and payroll management, and general administration support. You will manage finance, accounting, payroll processing, employee records, recruitment coordination, and provide administrative support to management while ensuring compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the company's daily financial and accounting operations
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow and bank transactions
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts and financial summaries for management review
• Monitor operating expenses, budgets and cost control
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks and other relevant parties
• Manage monthly payroll processing, including salary calculations, overtime, allowances, deductions and other employee-related payments
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory contributions and submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB/MTD
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave records and payroll documentation
• Handle recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations and staff administration
• Liaise with government departments, banks, service providers and other external organisations when required

About you

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting, with exposure to HR administration and payroll management
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices, payroll procedures and statutory contributions
• Familiarity with Malaysian tax compliance, audit coordination and relevant employment regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong organisational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities and maintain strict confidentiality
• Mature, reliable, proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks
