About Us
At Trickle Up we are a UK-based digital marketing and HR agency delivering performance-driven results for clients across multiple sectors. As we grow we are looking for a Finance Manager who can take full ownership of our financial operations — from day-to-day bookkeeping to payroll, banking, and client contracts — keeping everything accurate, organised, and running smoothly.
Apply via our official portal : career.trickleup.co.uk
About the Role
This is a hands-on finance role for someone who takes pride in numbers, accuracy, and organisation. You will manage the full financial function of the business — ensuring salaries are processed on time, books are maintained accurately, bank relationships are managed professionally, and client contracts are handled with care and precision.
You are not just a bookkeeper. You are someone who understands the financial health of the business, spots discrepancies before they become problems, and keeps leadership informed with clear and accurate reporting.
What You Will Do
Financial Management
- Manage and maintain the company’s day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and consistency
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Monitor and manage company expenditure — ensuring budgets are followed and costs are controlled
- Track all incoming and outgoing payments and maintain accurate financial records at all times
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership review
Payroll & Salaries
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time
- Maintain employee salary records and ensure any changes — increments, deductions, or adjustments — are processed correctly
- Manage salary advances, loans, and encashments in coordination with the Operations & People Manager
- Ensure all payroll documentation is accurate and up to date
Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up to date books of accounts using accounting software
- Record all financial transactions including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses
- Reconcile bank statements monthly and resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Manage petty cash and ensure all expenses are properly documented and approved
Banking & Financial Relationships
- Manage day-to-day banking operations including transfers, payments, and account management
- Liaise with bank representatives professionally and handle all banking documentation
- Manage foreign currency transactions and conversions where applicable — particularly for UK client payments
- Monitor bank balances and ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements
Client Contracts & Billing
- Manage client invoicing — ensuring all invoices are raised accurately and on time
- Track outstanding payments and follow up on overdue invoices professionally
- Maintain organised records of all client contracts, agreements, and financial terms
- Coordinate with the operations and account management teams to ensure contract terms are reflected accurately in billing
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all financial activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and ensure records are audit-ready at all times
- Assist with any external audit or financial review requirements
- Provide accurate and timely financial data to leadership for decision-making
What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of financial management, bookkeeping principles, and payroll processing
- Proficiency in accounting software — QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for financial reporting and tracking
- Experience managing banking relationships and handling day-to-day bank operations
- Familiarity with client invoicing, contract management, and accounts receivable
- Strong attention to detail — numbers must always be right
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities simultaneously
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional — you handle sensitive financial information with full confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with banks, clients, and leadership
Nice to Have
- Professional qualification — ACCA, CA (partly qualified), or equivalent
- Experience working in a marketing agency, professional services firm, or UK-registered company
- Familiarity with UK financial practices and currency management
- Experience with payroll software or HR information systems
- Knowledge of GST, tax filing, or other regulatory compliance requirements
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
