Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role oversees daily financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate general ledger postings. The Finance Manager prepares and reviews financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making. The role includes maintaining compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls, as well as coordinating with auditors and external financial partners. The Finance Manager also collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, optimize costs, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost optimization for service-based organizations.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks in India.
• Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor finance team members and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a finance management or senior finance role, preferably within a services-oriented organization.
