**About the role:**‍

Transcenda is a US-headquartered, full-lifecycle product development company with 300+ team members across the US, Europe (Poland, Romania, Ukraine), and LATAM (Brazil). We partner with Fortune 500 companies and well-funded startups to deliver world-class software products — from ideation and design through engineering and launch.

You'll lead finance operations and FP&A for our global, multi-entity group: owning the monthly close, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You'll drive automation and AI-enabled finance. You will report to the VP of Global Finance and act as trusted business partner to delivery and operations leaders, turning numbers into decisions.‍

Must haves:

• 6+ years of experience in finance operations, controlling, FP&A, or audit, including at least 2 years in a lead/supervisor role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is a strong plus).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, accrual accounting, and internal controls.
• Proven experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Practical, regular use of AI tools in finance work, with examples you can show and a clear approach to validating outputs.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel, including financial modeling.
• Strong business partnering skills: comfortable challenging and influencing senior, non-finance stakeholders.
• Ownership attitude: you spot issues early, prioritize what matters, and come with solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting to leadership.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.

Nice to have:

• Experience in professional services, consulting, or software companies.
• Track record of leading finance process improvements or automation projects with measurable results.
• Experience in global, multi-entity organizations across several jurisdictions.
• Experience building internal tools with no-code platforms, scripts, or AI coding assistants.

**Key responsibilities:**‍

• Own end-to-end finance operations across all entities (billing, AR/AP, contracting, intercompany), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and cash flow forecasting; track and explain performance against plan.
• Develop and own the management reporting suite and KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Partner with delivery and operations leaders on client and project profitability, pricing, rate reviews, and cost planning.
• Run ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions (hiring plans, new clients, investments).
• Design and maintain internal controls, finance policies, and SOPs within your areas of responsibility.
• Lead automation and AI adoption in finance: identify opportunities, build tools, and set validation standards for AI-generated outputs.
