Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative operations that support ASMC’s residential and community-based services. This role ensures accurate billing, financial reporting, compliance, and record-keeping across the organization. The Finance Manager works closely with administrative staff and leadership to maintain smooth and efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial records
• Process Medicaid, MCO, private-pay, and other service billing
• Reconcile bank accounts, invoices, remittances, and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end reconciliations
• Assist with annual and special audits and required financial reporting
• Oversee accounts receivable and collection activities
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records
• Track and post donations and provide bookkeeping support for fundraising activities
• Maintain business contracts and vendor records
• Serve as system administrator for MCOs and NC Tracks
• Work collaboratively with a Business Assistant and a Payroll & Billing Assistant
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong computer skills, including QuickBooks and general ledger experience
• Familiarity with Medicaid-funded services, MCO billing, ICF/IID, Innovations, IPRS, or other related human services programs is strongly preferred.

Full-time, on-site position in Charlotte, NC

Expected start date: November 9th or 16th
