Finance Manager

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager is a senior leadership role and the key financial advisor to the General Manager and Management Committee. You will:

• lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning
• manage cash flow and working capital to support organisational sustainability
• develop financial modelling, analysis and reporting for the General Manager and Management Committee
• manage external audits, tax planning and compliance obligations
• identify and manage financial risk
• be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, including day-to-day processing
• drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• CA or CPA qualification
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role
• advanced technical accounting skills and strong commercial acumen
• proven experience managing audits, tax planning and regulatory compliance
• strong financial systems skills, including Xero
• the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Experience in the not-for-profit, environmental or horticulture sector will be highly regarded.
