Finance Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast-growing e-commerce logistics company headquartered in Hong Kong with regional and overseas operations. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations and support the Group’s expansion. Reporting to senior management, this role covers full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, regional finance support, internal controls, management reporting, and process improvement. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and compliant financial information across Hong Kong and overseas entities while driving efficiency and providing actionable insights to support business growth in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations and month-end closing processes, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure financial statements and reporting comply with HKFRS, IFRS, and relevant accounting standards, and support external and internal audit processes.
• Support financial operations of Hong Kong and overseas subsidiaries, coordinate with regional finance teams, and handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and group consolidation.
• Prepare and deliver management reports, financial analyses, variance analysis, and business performance insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and related planning processes; provide financial and operational support to business units.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal control frameworks, including fixed asset management and cost control procedures, while ensuring tax and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in finance digitalisation initiatives, drive process optimisation and automation, and support ERP or cloud accounting system management and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and overseas counterparts to improve financial efficiency and support regional operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred; CICPA will also be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity; experience in multinational corporations, shared service centres (SSC), or regional finance management is highly advantageous.
• Solid hands-on experience in month-end closing, annual audits, group consolidation, and multi-entity financial reporting.
• Proven knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and Hong Kong statutory compliance requirements.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query, and data analysis) and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Xero, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar).
• Excellent written and spoken English for financial reporting, system operation, and cross-border banking matters; fluent Cantonese is required for internal and external communication; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage teams in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
• High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to handle pressure while driving continuous process improvement.
• Candidates with slightly less experience who demonstrate strong potential may be considered for an Assistant Manager position.
