That means offering focused products, a frictionless mobile-first experience, and clear terms with no gotchas. Respect and fairness is part of our DNA, and that ideal shapes how we work, how we treat each other, and how we invest in our employees and our community. Join us in using data, bold thinking, and a commitment to innovation to help clear the way for millions of Americans to achieve more.

About the Role

You'll join a fast-growing business unit Finance team, partnering with leaders across Consumer Lending and Operations to turn financial data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you'll support financial planning, performance reporting, and analysis that help the business grow profitably and operate efficiently.

You'll manage your work with increasing independence while identifying opportunities to improve how the team plans, analyzes, and reports financial performance.

What You'll Do

  • Execute financial planning, budgeting, and performance management for assigned lines of business, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals

  • Build and maintain financial models that support long-range planning and business unit strategy discussions

  • Conduct ad hoc analyses of business growth, profitability, and efficiency opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations for Finance and business leaders

  • Deliver variance analysis, month-end close, and quarter-end reporting on time and with a high standard of quality

  • Support company-wide Finance initiatives, including quarterly Board of Directors meetings, earnings releases, and regulatory examinations

  • Contribute financial analysis and modeling to due diligence activities related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic partnerships

  • Partner cross-functionally with business and Finance teams to understand performance drivers and support data-informed decisions

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring reporting, leveraging AI and other tools where appropriate to improve efficiency, accuracy, and analytical quality

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance at a bank, financial services, or technology company

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver accurate, timely results

  • Sound judgment and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity in a regulated environment

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively, incorporate feedback, and partner effectively across teams

  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated track record of delivering results and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

  • You actively look for ways AI can improve financial modeling, research, scenario analysis, and reporting. You apply sound judgment around accuracy, data sensitivity, auditability, and where human validation is needed, while identifying opportunities to improve how the team works
