Handle payment processing, supplier invoices, expense claims, reimbursements and financial documentation.
Maintain accurate accounting records and proper supporting documentation.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant service providers.
Financial Reporting & Headquarters Coordination

Ensure financial reporting is aligned with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and applicable Group reporting requirements.
Coordinate with Headquarters on financial reporting, funding arrangements, intercompany transactions and reconciliation.

Assist in establishing reporting templates, financial procedures and internal controls suitable for Singapore operations.

Coordinate with Headquarters on fund transfers, capital requirements and other treasury-related matters.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory accounting, taxation and financial reporting requirements.
Prepare and coordinate corporate income tax submissions, GST reporting and other applicable tax obligations.
Liaise with IRAS, external tax agents, auditors and relevant authorities.
Support compliance with ACRA requirements where applicable, including statutory financial reporting and filing obligations.
Coordinate with HR on payroll accounting, CPF contributions, employee-related payments and tax reporting matters.
Maintain appropriate financial controls and documentation in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
Project Finance & Construction Cost Control
Support project financial management, including budgeting, cost monitoring and financial reporting.
Monitor project expenditure, commitments, subcontractor payments and supplier invoices.
Coordinate with project, contracts and procurement teams on payment certification, billing, variation claims and financial matters.
Prepare project cash flow forecasts and monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets.
Assist management in assessing project profitability, financial exposure and cost performance.
Support financial administration for joint venture projects, where applicable.
Financial Systems, Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Establish and maintain appropriate accounting procedures, approval workflows and internal financial controls.
Develop practical finance processes suitable for a lean Singapore operation.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through accounting systems, digitalisation and process standardisation.
Ensure proper document retention, financial authorisation and compliance with company policies.
Support the implementation or improvement of accounting and financial reporting systems as the business expands.
Business & Management Support
Work closely with the General Manager and functional departments on operational and financial matters.
Support financial evaluation of business proposals, procurement activities and contractual arrangements.
Provide financial advice on expenditure planning, budget utilisation and cost optimisation.
Undertake other finance-related responsibilities required to support the establishment and growth of BUCG Singapore.
