Finance Manager

Finance Manager:

Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our group of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, managing statutory compliance, and providing reliable financial information to support management decision-making.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Managing Company Accounts: Overseeing all financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records and under IFRS
• Internal Control and Expense Analysis: Implementing internal controls to monitor and analyze company expenses.
• Providing Bank Information: Supplying weekly and monthly bank information to the Joint Managing Director for all associated companies.
• Conducting Bank Reconciliations: Performing bank reconciliations for both local and foreign companies.
• Ensuring Information Completeness: Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of sales, expenses, and stock information in the system to produce monthly management accounts.
• Inputting Accruals and Prepayments: Entering all accruals and prepayments into the financial system.
• Preparing Monthly TDS Submissions: Preparing and submitting monthly Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) to the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA).
• Preparing Yearly TDS Returns: Preparing and distributing yearly TDS returns to all affected parties.
• Dealing with external auditors and fund providers

Profile:

·      Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualified.

·      Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.

·      Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, reporting, and statutory requirements.

·      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
