Finance and Accounting

• Oversee the company's overall financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial performance analyses.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, bank transactions, and liquidity to ensure effective financial management.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit control, and payment schedules.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost allocation, trading margins, and profitability analysis.
• Develop and implement cost-control measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Manage banking relationships, financing activities, and other financial matters.
• Review and improve accounting procedures, financial systems, and reporting processes.
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely completion of tasks.

Compliance and Audit

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax requirements, and other statutory obligations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure the timely preparation of supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and establish effective internal financial controls.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a trading, distribution, or trading and supply company.
• Previous experience in a finance leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience with Zoho Books is an added advantage, along with proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, trading margins, profitability analysis, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Experience in banking operations, audit coordination, financial controls, and credit management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and support strategic business decisions.
