Finance Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a Finance Manager to establish and manage our client’s in-house finance function and oversee financial performance across its growing F&B business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust financial systems and controls, ensuring financial transparency, and supporting the company's operational efficiency and sustainable growth with strong F&B industry experience, excellent cash flow management capabilities, and proven expertise in P&L and profitability management.

Qualifications

• Min. 5-6 years of experience in a similiar role with in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry .
• Proven experience in financial management including P&L ownership, cash flow management, and profitability analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing or significantly developing an in-house finance function, financial systems, and internal controls.
• Strong understanding of multi-location financial management and location-based P&L reporting.
• Solid knowledge of F&B cost structures, food and coffee costs, inventory management, and cost control.
• Experience in budgeting and monitoring CAPEX, contractor payment claims, and project variation costs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS, and audit requirements.
• Experience preparing monthly financial reports for investors or senior management.
• Familiarity with financial and operational systems such as Xero, Revel, or Supy is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and commercially driven approach.

Job Description

• Establish and develop the in-house finance function, including financial systems, processes, internal controls, and reporting structures, transitioning from outsourced accounting services where appropriate.
• Manage the company's overall financial operations, cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning.
• Oversee daily cash and float controls, bank reconciliations, and weekly cash flow forecasting.
• Take ownership of P&L management and monitor revenue, costs, margins, and profitability across individual locations and business channels.
• Prepare clear, accurate and timely monthly financial reports for investors, providing insights into financial performance and key business drivers.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning to support business decisions.
• Monitor F&B costs, inventory levels, wastage, and cost efficiency.
• Manage financial planning and CAPEX budgets for new location investments, monitoring contractor payment claims, additional works, and variation costs.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payment schedules, and the tracking of rental agreements and lease obligations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and WPS requirements, while establishing audit-ready financial records and processes.
