Finance Manager

ROLE PURPOSE: Lead Egypt finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, statutory and tax compliance, effective working-capital management and commercially focused support to the business. We are looking for a hands-on finance leader with strong Egypt market knowledge, sound judgment and a business-partnering mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual closing, management reporting, budgeting support and variance analysis.
• Own balance-sheet integrity, bank and intercompany reconciliations, cash flow and aged-item clearance.
• Oversee revenue accounting, collections, supplier accounting, payments and working-capital controls.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate external and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, group policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing and related Egyptian Tax Authority requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Treasury, IT and leadership on business decisions.
• Lead and develop the Egypt finance team; simplify, standardize and automate finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA or Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors membership is preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or controllership role in Egypt.
• Strong practical knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, Egyptian corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing and statutory audit requirements.
• Experience in Egypt’s retail, consumer, trading or multi-site environment is preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience, preferably Oracle; strong Arabic and English communication skills.
