Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly Group consolidated financial statements, management reports and financial analysis
• Assist in the preparation of the half-year and full-year results and other announcements to SGX
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cashflow projections
• Review the financial statements, management accounts, reconciliations and supporting schedules of all Group entities to ensure accuracy, completeness and timely reporting
• Prepare statutory report at group level and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and financial accounting regulations
• Monitor the subsidiaries cash position, cash flow requirements and funding needs, and highlight significant variances or potential shortfalls
• Oversee the subsidiaries tax compliance, including reviewing tax computations and filings and coordinating with external tax agents
• Coordinate the subsidiaries external audits, review audit schedules and draft financial statements, and ensure timely resolution of audit matters.
• Review and enhance internal controls and systems to safeguard the company's assets and interests
• Assist in the review and implementation of accounting and financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial policies
• Supervision of Accounts staff
• Any other tasks which may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA)
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience with 3 years from audit
• Strong hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial statements
• Technically competent with up-to-date knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards
• Organised, meticulous & strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• A good team player with initiative
