Finance Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Oversee all accounting functions such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards including IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and industry-specific regulations.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, risk management, investment oversight, and banking relationships to optimize fiscal health.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret financial data for executive decision-making, and develop financial projection models to support strategic initiatives.
• Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead the finance team in utilizing data analytics tools and Excel data analysis techniques for insightful financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate new opportunities, support investment management activities, and contribute to strategic growth plans.
• Maintain rigorous compliance management practices ensuring adherence to governmental regulations and industry standards across all financial operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in senior financial management roles with a strong background in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting environments.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and industry-specific financial regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, risk management, budget development, forecasting, and cost control strategies.
• Proficiency with financial software systems such as ERP platforms or specialized accounting tools; advanced Excel skills including data analysis are essential.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing finance teams; ability to foster collaboration and drive performance excellence.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
• Technical proficiency in finance concepts such as profit & loss analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow management, and regulatory reporting.
• Industry knowledge of financial markets and investment management principles is highly desirable.
