Finance Manager – Membership Organisation

£55,000–£60,000 | Permanent

Buckinghamshire / Mainly remote with occasional office visits but MUST BE commutable to Bucks.

Unbound Talent is recruiting a qualified Finance Manager for an established membership organisation.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on financial management with business partnering and team leadership. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll help senior colleagues understand performance, plan effectively and make informed decisions.

The role

• Oversee management reporting, budgets, forecasts and cashflow planning.
• Partner with budget holders, providing clear financial insight and constructive challenge.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Coordinate year-end reporting, audit preparation and tax compliance, including VAT.
• Maintain effective financial controls and improve reporting, systems and processes.
• Develop financial models and analysis to support business planning.

About you

You’ll be a qualified accountant—ACA, ACCA or CIMA—with experience across management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You’ll bring previous team leadership experience, strong Excel and financial modelling skills, and the ability to explain financial information clearly to colleagues outside finance.

Experience within a membership organisation, professional institute, trade association or awarding body would be particularly welcome. Relevant charity and wider not-for-profit experience will also be considered.
