What they need
Marchon's client is hiring a Finance Manager to join their Business Financial Services department. Successful applicant will be a strong communicator with prior expereince in support Treasurers within Nassau county.
Financial Services Experience
- Budget
- Accounting
- Payroll
- Human Resources
- ACA reporting
- GASBY application experiece is highly preferred
- Retirement (ERS/TRS)
- Check processing, including creating check layouts
- Accounts receivable
- Negotiations, including retro payments and Swaim
- Bidding
- Systems administration
- Seniority
- Attendance
- State reporting
- Calendar year-end processing, including W-2 and 1099 processing and printing
- Fiscal year-end processing (June 30)
- EFT, ACH, and Positive Pay files
- Securities and permissions
Qualifications
- Strong payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience with tax and wage laws
- Good understanding of common fiscal procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
