I’m partnering with an international logistics business to recruit a Finance Manager for its team in Hoofddorp. This is an opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys combining accounting responsibilities with collaboration, coaching and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Finance Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of daily accounting processes and help ensure accurate, timely reporting in an international environment.

What will you be doing?

▪️ Overseeing day-to-day purchase-to-pay, record-to-report and intercompany processes

▪️ Coordinating month-end closing and the preparation of monthly financial statements

▪️ Reviewing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and other accounting entries

▪️ Monitoring intercompany receivables and payables, supporting working capital management

▪️ Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and reporting requirements

▪️ Supporting the development of colleagues and working with internal stakeholders and service providers

▪️ Improving financial processes and supporting finance-related system changes

What are we looking for?

✅ A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent

✅ Around five years of relevant finance and accounting experience

✅ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls

✅ Practical experience with accounting systems and an interest in process improvement

✅ Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving problems

✅ The ability to coach colleagues and communicate effectively across teams

✅ Fluency in Dutch and English

💶 Salary up to €7,000 gross per month , depending on experience with performance bonus and interesting benefits package
