Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to manage our Finance & Accounts department and supervise our accounts team.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including customer collections, supplier payments, cash and bank monitoring, project accounts and monthly financial reports.

Main Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise the Accounts team.

* Assign daily work and check the team’s accounting activities.

* Monitor customer outstanding payments and follow up for collections.

* Prepare and maintain the Debtors / Receivables report.

* Monitor supplier outstanding payments and prepare payment schedules.

* Maintain the Creditors / Payables report.

* Monitor daily cash and bank balances.

* Control company receipts and payments.

* Maintain project-wise accounts using the correct project number.

* Check project invoices, expenses, material costs and payments.

* Prepare monthly finance reports for management.

* Prepare Cash Flow, Debtors, Creditors, Sales and Expense reports.

* Monitor monthly company payments such as rent, electricity, telephone, vehicles and supplier payments.

* Check invoices and supporting documents before payments are processed.

* Ensure proper approval for company expenses and payments.

* Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Stores and Management regarding financial matters.

* Coordinate with auditors and external accountants when required.

* Maintain proper financial records and documentation.

* Ensure accounting work is completed accurately and on time.

Candidate Requirements

* Master / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.

* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

* Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or similar position.

* Experience managing an accounts team.

* Good knowledge of Debtors, Creditors, Cash Flow and Bank Reconciliation.

* Experience with project-based accounting is preferred.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* Experience with ERP/accounting software.

* Good communication and organizational skills.

* Qatar experience is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Construction, Contracting, ELV, ICT, CCTV, Security Systems, Trading or other project-based companies will be an advantage.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
