Finance Manager – F&B

We are looking for a highly experienced, commercially driven, and hands-on Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a well-established and growing multi-unit restaurant group in the UAE.

This is a senior leadership role for someone with extensive experience in the UAE F&B / Restaurant industry and a proven track record of improving financial performance, strengthening financial governance and controls, and turning financial data into actionable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall finance function across multiple restaurant locations.
• Take full ownership of financial planning, reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Drive measurable improvements in food cost, beverage cost, labour cost, operating expenses, and overall profitability.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities, inefficiencies, revenue gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Establish and strengthen financial governance, internal controls, policies, and approval processes across the group.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, performance analysis, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor P&L performance by branch, department, and business unit and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor actual performance against approved budgets.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, financing requirements, and relationships with financial institutions.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, government entities, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Lead financial system improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
• Work closely with Operations, HR, Procurement, and senior management to ensure financial decisions support sustainable business growth.
• Analyze and optimize manpower allocation and labour costs across branches based on sales performance, operational requirements, productivity, and business needs.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team with strong accountability and financial discipline.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including senior finance leadership experience.
• Extensive UAE experience within the Restaurant / F&B industry is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing finance for a multi-branch restaurant or hospitality group.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financial KPIs, including:
• Food & Beverage Cost
• Prime Cost
• Labour Cost
• COGS
• Gross Profit
• EBITDA
• Branch P&L Performance
• Inventory & Waste Management
• Cash Flow
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable financial improvements and cost optimization results.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, business performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, financial compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Strong experience managing monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Experience dealing with banks, auditors, external consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, financial software, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
