  • Support German entity setup, local bank account establishment, ERP/SAP implementation, finance data migration and the EOR-to-entity transition.
  • Maintain effective finance controls within ERP/SAP and approval systems, including segregation of duties, master-data controls, reconciliations and exception management.
  • Partner with HR on payroll postings, personnel-cost accruals, bonuses, benefits and monthly personnel-cost reporting.
  • Provide finance business partnering support to Sales, Aftersales, Marketing and Operations, including commercial analysis, cost control and financial evaluation of business decisions.
  • Manage finance-related external vendors and maintain effective communication with HQ Finance and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration or a related discipline; German accounting or tax qualifications are an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, reporting, controlling or audit within a German and international business environment.
  • Experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, manufacturing, dealer group, auto finance, leasing/fleet or logistics industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of German HGB, VAT/USt, closing, statutory reporting, FP&A, cash management, accruals and internal controls; knowledge of IFRS/group reporting is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with SAP/S4HANA or other ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with finance system implementation or process setup is preferred.
  • Experience with dealer rebates, credit notes, sales discounts, marketing expenses, inventory or cost accounting is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and build finance processes in an early-stage or rapidly growing subsidiary environment.
  • Strong business and analytical mindset, high integrity, attention to detail and strong internal-control awareness.
  • Strong cross-functional and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Fluent German and English; Chinese language capability is an advantage.
