Finance Manager, Medical devices (Diagnostics)

About the role

The Finance & Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations, administrative functions, and regulatory compliance within the Hong Kong entity of a multinational healthcare organisation. The role ensures adherence to Hong Kong financial regulations, healthcare compliance standards, and corporate governance requirements, while supporting regional business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts in compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards
• Oversee monthly closing, financial reporting and consolidation with regional office
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost controls
• Ensure accurate handling of accounts payable/receivable and Intercompany transactions
• Liaise with regional finance teams for group reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) requirements of Profits Tax filing & Employer's Return
• Manage annual audit and statutory filings under the Companies Ordinance
• Oversee MPF contributions and payroll-related compliance
• Liaison with external tax advisors to handle tax planning/reporting and system set up

About you

• Lead finance and administration team including accounts supervisor, accounts clerk, administration manager and sales/service administrator
• Establish and maintain internal control systems
• Manage and optimise use of SAP and local accounting/payroll systems
