Finance manager, Medical Devices/ Diagnostics

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead full-spectrum financial operations, internal controls, statutory compliance, and administrative oversight for our Hong Kong entity. Serving as a strategic partner to regional leadership and local operations, you will drive accurate financial reporting, oversee budgeting and cash flow, and ensure strict compliance with local tax and corporate regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee the full set of accounts under HKFRS, drive monthly close, manage group reporting consolidation, and monitor working capital and cash flow.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support regional business performance.
• Statutory Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) requirements, manage annual audits, and lead statutory filings under the Companies Ordinance.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management: Establish internal control frameworks, mitigate operational and financial risks, and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
• Team Leadership & Administration: Manage the finance and administration team, oversee payroll and MPF compliance, and supervise office operations and contract administration.
• Systems & Process Optimization: Leverage and optimize SAP and local accounting software to streamline billing, collection, and reporting workflows.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional Qualification: Active member of HKICPA, ACCA, or an equivalent recognized professional accounting body.
• Industry Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, with proven experience within the medical device, diagnostic equipment, or healthcare sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HKFRS, HK tax regulations, and hands-on proficiency with SAP and local payroll systems.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent team management abilities with fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese communication skills to liaise effectively across regional HQ and external partners.
