Finance Manager - newly qual

Finance Manager | Kent | ACA | £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus

My client is an award-winning, well-established Kent housebuilder is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function, and this is a strong move for an ACA who’s ready to leave busy season behind.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including journal processing, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis
• Producing weekly cashflow reconciliations and forecasts
• Preparing payroll and payroll reconciliations
• Preparing year-end external audit schedules and reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting statutory returns, including VAT and CITB
• Supporting annual budgets and business plans, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Reviewing and maintaining the accounting system and ledgers
• Designing, implementing and maintaining key financial controls
• Supporting project cost reviews and sales pricing exercises as required
