Finance Manager ( Thailand)

About the role

A multinational precision metal stamping company is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our manufacturing plant in Thailand. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, and management skills. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, providing financial insights and support to aid in strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily financial operations of the factory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Develop and maintain the company's accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accurate and fair financial reporting
• Work closely with business departments to provide financial analysis and foresight, supporting management in strategic decision-making
• Develop and monitor financial budgets and plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals
• Manage and analyse factory costs, overseeing company taxation and general ledger work
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations
• Conduct thorough financial data analysis, reporting to the Group Finance Head on a dotted line basis

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost/general ledger/complete accounting management within a manufacturing enterprise
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budget preparation, and financial reporting processes is preferred
• Proficient in common office software and financial systems
• Familiarity with Kingdee financial software is a plus
• Holding a CPD certificate is preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage and lead teams effectively
• Clear understanding of financial data, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and processes, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proficient in English and Mandarin; Thai language proficiency is an advantage
• Knowledge of Thai laws and regulations; experience with Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) is a plus
