Finance Officer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Economy/Finance.
• Min. 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial control, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliation, cash flow, and financial transactions.
• Experienced in monitoring outstanding transactions and following up on unresolved balances or discrepancies.
• Able to prepare and analyze cash flow, outstanding, budget vs. actual, and other management reports.
• Good understanding of financial procedures, approval workflows, and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data reconciliation, analysis, and reporting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage high-volume financial transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, particularly in following up with internal departments or external parties.

Non-mandatory requirements that serve as an added bonus:

• Proven experience working in mining-related fields.
• Proven experience working in banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and outstanding transactions to ensure timely follow-up.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and financial transactions, as well as resolve discrepancies or unidentified transactions.
• Prepare financial and management reports, including cash flow, outstanding items, and budget-versus-actual comparisons.
• Monitor and analyze expenditures, budgets, and variances to identify potential efficiencies or financial risks.
• Process financial transactions in accordance with established procedures, approval protocols, and internal controls.
• Provide financial data and analysis to support management requirements and audit processes.
