Finance Officer

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile sub-ledgers
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices, securing approvals, and processing payments
• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) by generating billing statements, tracking collections, and monitoring aging reports
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts
• Monitor daily cash flow and manage petty cash disbursements and liquidations
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
• Prepare schedules and documentation required for external and internal audits
• Analyze financial data to assist management with variance analysis (comparing actual spending vs. budget)
