FINANCE OFFICER

About the role

This is a varied role with a strong payroll focus, ensuring our employees are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with legislative requirements. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation and play a key role in supporting our upcoming payroll and HR platform migration.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing and administration.
• Payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance activities.
• Managing payroll enquiries and supporting employees.
• Maintaining payroll records and employee data.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
• Assisting with payroll system implementation, testing and process improvement initiatives.
• Supporting the transition from MYOB to Employment Hero.

About you

• Demonstrated payroll experience in a finance or payroll position.
• Strong practical experience using MYOB Acumatica.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Experience undertaking reconciliations and maintaining financial records.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Sound knowledge of and experience in interpreting the Live Performance Award.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
