Finance Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team and drive our financial operations forward. Responsibilities

• Manage and process accounts payable transactions efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers
• Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50 (and must have experience of Sage)
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure data integrity
• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and attention to detail
• Monitor and update financial transactions within accounting systems, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Sage
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in bookkeeping and reporting
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
• Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or related fields is preferred
