Job Summary:

The Finance Officer is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of an organization, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, tracking investments, and maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, ensuring that funds are available for operational needs and identifying discrepancies or financial risks.
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets that provide insights into the organization’s financial performance. Finance officers conduct financial analysis and forecasting, evaluating trends, assessing risks, and supporting decision-making processes for management and executives.
• Manage and ensure that all financial activities comply with regulatory standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support, helping managers make informed decisions regarding budgets, cost-benefit analyses, and funding requirements.

Relevant work experience/Qualification:

• Hold at least an HND/B.SC in Accounting ,Business Administration, Applied Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Possess 3-5 years of experience in related job role.
• Good knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards, Strong analytical and numerical skills & tax laws .
