Job Description of Finance Officer

M.com/MBA in finance and accounts: At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing sector preferably in Agri commodity.

Location: Kebbi, Nigeria

Status: Bachelor

Daily entry update in Tally.

Payment to vendors on time on day-to-day basis.

Preparation of budget for the factory.

Closing the month end activities on due date.

Preparing weekly fund requirement along with discussion with Factory manager.

Prepare bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.

Liaison with Local Government and local banks.

Actively participating in the key finance & accounting processes like annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, timely submission of various financial reports and so on.

Verifying Capex and Fixed Assets and preparing depreciation schedule attached to it.

Administering import costing, forex exchange accounting & GRN process.

Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies and procedures.

Filling VAT return, tax return and all statutory returns on timely basis.

Leading the process of inventory management and getting the physical stock checking and inform to respective department head along with own HOD.

Liaison with internal Auditor, Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditor.

Supervising financial closing, salary processing, tax assessment Tax Audit, Payroll Accounting

Any other additional responsibility given by the management.

Pay: ₦10,000.00 - ₦12,000.00 per month
