Finance Officer (Corporate Accounting)

About the job Ion Pacific is a global investment manager with offices in Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Zurich, that focuses on investment opportunities in the technology industry. We are looking for a Finance Officer (Corporate Accounting) with relevant experience to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance in Hong Kong, you will be an integral part of the finance team. You will be responsible for:

• Support for general accounting operations
• Maintaining a full set of books for the corporate entities
• Budgeting & forecasting, and financial reporting
• Tracking new regulatory rules and requirements
• Managing the audit process and tax filing for all corporate entities
• Assisting with payroll for all operating entities
• Responsible for forming and dissolving corporate entities and relevant corporate administrativetasks.
• Tracked changes in corporate structure and ownership while maintaining the firm’s structuraland organizational charts and spreadsheets
• Other ad hoc work as assigned

Requirements:

• Good interpersonal skills and fluent written and spoken English is a must
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting and finance.
• Professional accounting qualifications e.g. ACCA, HKICPA
• Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and adaptability to a small team environment and high standards for accuracy and quality
• Flexible, responsive, and able to manage a diverse set of demanding priorities - Energetic and cheerful personality and work attitude
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with exposure in privateequity/venture capital firm.
• Good team player with flexibility and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, international work environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
