Finance Officer - E-Commerce

About the role

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring finance-related transactions for online sales operations, including bank reconciliation, validation of payment records, monitoring of collections, and reconciliation of platform settlements and customer payments. The role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timely matching of transaction records, collections, and account balances, while preparing financial reports and supporting effective financial control and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor finance-related transactions for online sales operations
• Perform bank reconciliation and validation of payment records
• Monitor collections and reconciliation of platform settlements and customer payments
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely matching of transaction records, collections, and account balances
• Prepare financial reports
• Support effective financial control and reporting
• Work with Sales, Key Accounts, and external customers regarding billing and payment concerns

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related business course
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Trade Funds, Claims Management, General Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, or Commercial Finance
• Experience in high-volume transaction processing and account reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting software
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in FMCG, Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce is highly preferred
• Knowledgeable in trade claims, customer deductions, promotional support, rebates, or sales support reconciliation is an advantage
