Finance Operations Associate

WE ARE HIRING | FINANCE OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a Finance Operations Associate to join our team.

This is a hands on role for someone who can independently manage day-to-day Finance operations, keep proper financial records and take ownership of key Finance responsibilities.

What you will be responsible for:

• Managing receivables, client billing, payment follow-ups and collections.
• Managing payables, expenses and payment documentation.
• Preparing weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Managing PAYE, WHT and other applicable tax obligations, including calculations, filings, remittances and proper documentation.
• Managing pension and other statutory obligations.
• Handling bank and account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Tracking campaign income, expenses and profitability.
• Managing financial records on Zoho Books and other Finance trackers.
• Monitoring cash flow, expenses and outstanding payments.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Maintaining proper financial controls and documentation.
• Working with other departments to obtain the information required for Finance reporting and processes.
• Providing accurate financial information to Management when required.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• ICAN or ACCA qualification is required.
• 2–4 years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and Nigerian tax requirements.
• Experience with accounting software; Zoho Books is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
