Finance Operations Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Operations Executive to manage our day-to-day accounting, invoicing, and compliance execution. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining seamless financial operations, driving accuracy, and taking complete ownership of our transactional workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Zoho Books (or equivalent software).

• Record all routine financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.

• Perform timely bank and ledger reconciliations.

• Ensure proper documentation to maintain audit-ready records at all times.

• Raise accurate invoices based on various models (project-based, milestone-based, recurring/SaaS).

• Track receivables closely and proactively follow up with customers for timely collections.

• Maintain the Accounts Receivable (AR) aging report and provide regular status updates.

• Process incoming vendor bills and systematically manage accounts payable (AP) schedules.

• Ensure payments are executed punctually following internal approval matrices.

• Track, verify, and categorize company expenses accurately.

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time.

• Reconcile GST data regularly (matching sales, purchases, and Input Tax Credit).

• Organize and prepare data for TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.

• Strictly adhere to all tax and compliance timelines.

• Generate critical MIS reports, including PL statements, cash flow tracking, and AR/AP aging.

• Maintain financial summaries and operational dashboards.

• Provide clean, accurate data to support internal decision-making.

• Follow established finance SOPs and operational workflows.

• Ensure optimal usage and data discipline within Zoho finance tools.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance operations.

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or an equivalent degree in Finance/Commerce.

• Taxation: Strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping and direct involvement in GST filings.

• Compliance: Solid understanding of Indian GST, TDS, and general compliance processes.

• Software: Practical experience working withnbsp; Zoho Books and high proficiency innbsp; Excel / Google Sheets .

• Soft Skills: Strong customer follow-up, negotiation, and collections management skills.

• Mindset: High attention to detail, exceptional accuracy, and a strong ownership mindset to manage multiple tasks independently.
