Finance Planning Analyst

About the role

Finance Planning Analyst will provide a consistent financial planning and analysis experience that integrates planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, conducts continuous process improvements and supports decision making by the business group or function. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders to help ensure effective business results and provide routine support to the defined business or function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process in adherence to the reporting calendar.
• Perform analysis of company revenue performance and growth, profit and loss reports, operating variances, revenue reports and key performance indicators.
• Support the business plan development, pro-actively identify key issues and make recommendations to management.
• Accurately analyse and collect data for various types of business reports. Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.
• Establish and maintain systems and controls; verify the integrity of all automated systems, processes, and data.
• Collaborate with regional leadership team to streamline, simplify, and automate finance processes, including FP&A reporting process.
• Participate in process improvement and/or system automation project management in the region including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) projects.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as required by Management.
• Cultivate strong working relationships within division Finance and all relevant regional teams within the Group.

About you

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial reporting or analysis in a multinational company.

• BS in Accounting or Finance.

• Familiarity with IFRS, Excel VBA and ERPs.

• Sound business acumen and quantitative and analytical skills with good detail orientation.

• Execution focused, ability to set and meet aggressive goals and objectives.

• Experience with accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience with the use of spreadsheets and business intelligence tools.
