What they need
- This role is responsible for the end-to-end preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP on a quarterly and annual basis
- Key duties include managing statutory and tax audit processes, coordinating with auditors, and ensuring meticulous documentation and compliance
- The position oversees the verification of various GST filings (GSTR 2B, 3B, 9, and 9C), TDS/TCS returns, and the approval of entries within Tally for both Indian and subsidiary books
- Additionally, the role involves performing detailed monthly analyses of profit and loss statements, cash flows, and provisions, alongside maintaining fixed asset registers and stock statements
- A successful candidate will take the lead in preparing tax and transfer pricing returns, liaising with tax auditors, and directly representing the company in responding to tax and GST queries with government officers
