Finance Project Manager (Treasury Management Systems)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS). The successful candidate will manage the project from initiation and planning through implementation, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.

The role will work closely with Finance, Treasury, IT, banking partners, technology vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable, secure, and efficient treasury solution. The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with hands-on experience in financial systems implementation, banking/financial operations, bank connectivity, reconciliation, and General Ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a Treasury Management System from project initiation through post-go-live support.
• Develop and manage the project charter, scope, work breakdown structure, timeline, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish project governance and facilitate regular project meetings and status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Treasury, IT, vendors, and external consultants.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
• Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and escalations to senior leadership.

Business & Functional Requirements

• Work closely with Finance and Treasury stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Assess existing treasury processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system requirements.
• Facilitate discussions between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and appropriately implemented.
• Validate solution designs with business stakeholders and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Treasury Management System Implementation

• Lead implementation activities covering key treasury functions, including:
• Cash Management
• Cash Forecasting
• Liquidity Management
• Bank Account Management
• Payment Processing
• In-House Banking
• Debt & Investment Management
• Foreign Exchange (FX) Management
• Financial Risk Management
• Bank Fee Analysis
• Treasury Reporting
• Coordinate implementation of bank interfaces and transaction flows.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of treasury transactions against bank transactions.
• Support the flow of reconciled data into downstream reporting and financial processes.
• Ensure appropriate integration and posting of treasury transactions into the General Ledger.

ERP & Banking Integration

• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to integrate the TMS with ERP and financial systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow supporting:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Cash Position Reporting
• Financial Reporting
• Work with banking partners and technology vendors to manage connectivity and integration requirements.

Data Migration & Reconciliation

• Develop and oversee data migration activities for treasury-related data.
• Coordinate data validation, reconciliation, and cleansing activities.
• Ensure migrated data is complete, accurate, and ready for production use.
• Work with Finance and Treasury teams to resolve data discrepancies and migration issues.

Testing & Go-Live

• Develop and manage the overall testing strategy and test plan.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Manage test scenarios, defect tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder sign-offs.
• Address resource and environment constraints that may affect testing timelines.
• Coordinate go-live readiness activities and post-production support.

Risk, Issue & Stakeholder Management

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans to keep the project on track.
• Manage escalations and facilitate resolution of conflicts between business and technology teams.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Treasury, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Drive alignment when stakeholder priorities, expectations, or resource availability differ.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, governance requirements, and applicable financial regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably managing financial systems, banking systems, or enterprise technology implementations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end system implementation projects from initiation through production and post-go-live support.
• Strong experience working with banking, financial services, treasury, or finance-related systems.
• Experience with bank transactions, bank reconciliation, financial assets, or investment-related systems is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of General Ledger processes and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, regression testing, data migration, and system integration.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Experience working with external vendors, technology partners, or consultants.
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience implementing a Treasury Management System (TMS).
• Experience with cash management, liquidity management, payment processing, bank connectivity, or treasury reconciliation.
• Experience integrating financial systems with ERP platforms and General Ledger systems.
• Experience working in banking, fintech, financial services, or large-scale enterprise finance environments.
• Experience managing projects with tight implementation timelines and multiple business/technology dependencies.

Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
