Finance SME – PD&IT (Downstream)

Summary: The role primarily aims to represent the PD&IT area within the Downstream portfolio, ensuring accurate reflection of costs, capital programmes, and allocations in financial reporting frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:

• Capture current finance, budgeting and reporting practices for the PD&IT area.
• Define cost centre, project and capital programme reporting needs (including capex, assets under construction, project costing).
• Advise on allocation and chargeback principles for shared technology and project costs across business segments.
• Validate GCOA, cost centre, and governance outputs from a PD&IT viewpoint.

Key Requirements:

• Senior finance experience involving capital projects, technology, or shared-function finance in Oil & Gas.
• Expertise in capex governance, project accounting, and cost allocation models.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with technology or R&D cost allocation in the downstream sector.
• Familiarity with SAP project systems (PS) or investment management.

Other Details:

• Seniority Level - Senior Manager equivalent.
• Experience - 12+ years in finance; focuses on downstream functional and capital programme finance.
