Finance Specialist

Placement: Konawe Utara, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions & Record Keeping

• Manage and record AP/AR for coal or nickel trading and maritime operations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
• Analyze cost structures and transaction profitability.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations for mining and maritime trading.
• Prepare tax reports and support internal/external audits.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.

Maritime / Shipping Cost Accounting

• Track and allocate vessel-related expenses (fuel, port charges, repairs, crew costs).
• Reconcile voyage costs against budgets and report variances.

Mining Trading Accounting

• Monitor coal or nickel inventory, purchases, and sales.
• Track operational costs, freight, royalties, and other trading expenses.
• Ensure accuracy in pricing, billing, and shipment documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in maritime and/or mining.
• Knowledge of taxation, customs duties, and industry financial regulations.
• Proficient both in English and Mandarin.
